1. Why we chose animation for our
music video
The main reason why we chose animation for our video is due
to the lyrics of our song, raincloud vs sunshine. We intend to
have visual personifications of the two human characters with
the happy one as sunshine, and the sad one as a raincloud. It
would be difficult to film an actual raincloud or the sun to
represent our characters emotions, so animation seemed the
best way forward

2. Other reasons
• Another reason we chose animation for our music video is
convenience. With live action footage, multiple variables
need to be taken under consideration, such as
weather, location, actors and transport. With animation, all
of these factors can be controlled, allowing more focus on
making the music video the best it can possibly be.

3. More reasons
• Another perk of choosing animation is we can
work on our video while in lessons. Compared to
a live action video which can only be filmed
outside of school times. This allows for more
time to be dedicated to finishing it, preventing
the final product being rushed. It also allows
multiple members of our group to work on the
project at the same time, which reduces the time
needed to complete the project.
