A short display of my understanding of Action Match

1. ACTION MATCH
Where the editor cuts from one
shot to another, continuing the
action from the first through to
the next.
Gives the impression of continuous
time. The shots could be shot hours
apart from each other but it will
look as though they were film
almost simultaneously.
It makes sure the viewer
isn’t disorientated by the
shot.
Acts as a visual bridge between
shots. This can distract the
viewer from noticing the
change in shots, allowing the
film to run smoothly.
In my title sequence I will make sure that action match is
done to a professional extent by shooting the same shot a
few times.
