Invisible Truck Toyota Tacoma Commercial 2015: In this
advert an “Invisble Truck “ is seen to drive around a muddy
field destroying the earth underneath it and creating huge
amounts of sound. It is then stops moving and “the beast is
revealed” with a stunt driver walking away from it
The sound effects used are firstly the the sound of the engine of the truck. It is made loud
and powerful to show how dynamic the truck is. There is aslo a roar when the “beast is
revealed” this show the truck is almost like a monster with how ferocious it and its
immense strength like a lion. There is also a constant drum in the background that adds
Atmosphere to the advert and gives the product mystery just like a lion has in its natural
habitiat that the car is also shown to be in
The only text in the advert is at the end when the car “re-appears” and the text “the beast
is revealed” shows up. This is to show the audience how powerful and “manly” the truck
is. This is good for their targe taudience
The target audience is men above the age of 18. This is because it is shown to be
dangerous and exciting with the stunt driver and manly with the text of “the beast is
revaled” the sounds used give it an anamlistic characteristic and would appeal to men
The message of this advert is that if you buy this car it will provide excitement, danger
and will make feel manly. It is the animal of its kingdom just like a lion is of the animal
kingdom
