FOUNDED BY BROTHERS BEN AND JON CONRAD, RADCO AIMS TO PUBLISH UNIQUE, CREATOR DRIVEN NARRATIVES AND CHAMPION THE INDEPENDENT FILM AND COMIC BOOK COMMUNITIES. OUR GOAL IS TO FIND NEW AND EXCITING AVENUES TO MARKET AND DELIVER STORIES.
- 5. Director and Radcoco-founder Ben Conrad is largely impacting the entertainment space from viral video to the big screen. Whether he’s directing sequences for films such as The Avengers, Captain America and Iron Man, or facilitating the Miley Cyrus stage visuals for the singer’s worldwide Bangerz Tour, Conrad is constantly setting the ever-rising bar, and setting it high. It’s no surprise that Conrad’s work on the wildly viral Gymkhana series has Car and Driver Magazine referring to he and fellow partners as “Masters of the Hooniverse.” The Gymkhana Films have been named by AdWeek as the “Most Shared Ad Franchise of All Time”, and won successive awards from the likes of YouTube, two Gold Pencil wins from the One Show, and a nomination for Best Production by AICP. From dominating the digital space with viral views in the 200 millions to creating the award-winning title sequences in the motion picture Zombieland, Conrad not only lives on the forefront of big entertainment, he continues to define it. The A GIRLWALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT comic book miniseries is a prequel to the acclaimed independent film of the same title which follows ‘The Girl’, a centuries old vampire as she stalks (and skates) the sordid streets of Bad City, a fictional Iranian ghost-town, all the while dealing with the existential crisis of immortality. Radco co-founder Jon Conrad is an editor and head of production for the comic series. A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT is a 2014 film by director / writer Ana Lily Amirpour. The film was distributed in the US by Kino Lorber with marketing by VICE. The film has won numerous awards and was a hit with moviegoers and critics. BAD SUMMER is currently being developed as a feature film with director Paul Minor and talent agency UTA. The graphic novel was created with a film in mind and was developed as part of an option agreement through Radco and partner film company General Population, which was co-founded by Ben Conrad.
- 15. Set in anear-future dystopia, ALMIGHTY is the story of a girl abducted by a motorcycle gang and the bounty hunter; a 'Jane of all trades', sent to find her and bring her home. - 20. Through our experiencein creating commercial content, we have recently embarked on creating 360 VR content for the Oculus Rift. We were excited by the potential of this medium and are currently developing a companion VR piece that will release to coincide with the graphic novels for A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT and BAD SUMMER. We want to create a unique experience that is fully immersive, something different than the motion graphic animated panel videos you currently see out there. We want to take a title with a built in audience and buzz to the next level. This could become the new norm for comics. All of the VR content will work as short companion pieces to the comics; no reading involved, just cool experiences inside creative space. We are developing a destination site for this content with an eye on monetization. The content will be formatted for desktop, mobile as well as VR. This will work as a VR comic as well as a desktop interactive experience.

- 23. The special editionBlu Ray for A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT was designed by Radco. It will feature a mini booklet containing the comic. The iTunes special release will also feature the comic as additional content. We also created a skateboard that has been popular with fans of the book and the film. We will continually work with the best vendors and find fun ways to create merchandise for our properties.
