For this assignment you will demonstrate your understanding of
your role in helping families to find and
utilize effective support services for their children’s diverse
needs. The specific topics are: 1) children with
disabilities, and 2) homeless families. You will need to reflect
on the readings and videos for this unit as
well as information you have learned earlier in the course.
The requirements for your paper are:
1. Review the course readings and videos.
2. Identify two (2) resources provided in the course, one that
address children with disabilities and one that
addresses homeless families. Include the resource citation in
APA format and provide a brief
summary/annotation of the resource.
3. Explain one specific issue or need of families of children
with disabilities. Provide a clear rationale as to
why you feel the issue or need is of importance.
