1. Main Task Brief
For our main task we are creating a thriller title sequence, we have chosen to do this
as thrillers create a lot of suspense and mystery, and are also very interesting to create.
My group was made up of Me, Toni, and Megan and within our group we decided to
base our theme around people going missing, this was chosen because we wanted to
make it different from a normal theme of thriller, we were also inspired by the title
sequence of “Taken”. We have made our main characters as older teenagers as we
wanted to base our characters age around the age of the target audience, this would
create more emotion between the character and target audience as they will have
similarities with each other and will be able to relate to the character which makes the
film become more effective to the audience. We are also using a News reporter as we
wanted the plot of the story to seem realistic which will also create emotion within the
audience it is also because it is a very serious issue that needs to be taken seriously.
