ACCOUNTING MANAGER – January 2010 to April 2015
 Supervised the complete accounting cycle process through month and year end closing for the affiliate company in the
USA and the parent’s company subsidiaries in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic & Cuba, including the work
done by 8 members accounting staff. This process involved the following: 1) monthly review & approval of all
accounting activity concerning customer billing, 2) managing accounts receivable & accounts payable, 3)
reconciliation of several bank accounts, 4) biweekly review & approval of the company’s forty (40) employee payroll,
5) controlling W-9 Forms and the issuance of 1099-Misc Forms following the end of the fiscal year.
 Maintaining Excel schedules relating to fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, employee advances,
reconciliation of inter-company accounts, and entering all related journal entries in the system.
 Calculating commissions & bonuses due to all eligible sales personnel on a quarterly basis based upon an annually
revised incentives plan.
 Securing the completion of the month end closing process in the company’s internally designed web based software
pursuant to directives from the corporate office followed up by an internal audit to ensure that all accounting related
activity had been accurately recorded & that all required corrections and adjusting journal entries were booked into
the system. This included ascertaining that all supporting documentation was scanned & uploaded into the system.
 Reconciling balance sheet accounts and conducting budget to actual income statement variance analysis.
 Prepared and submitted year-end Balance Sheet and Income Statement along with all supporting ledgers and financial
documentation deemed relevant to the company’s external tax accountants for the preparation of the local tangible tax
return and the company’s Federal and State Income Tax Returns; also, working with the external tax advisors,
Arazoza & Company, P.A., to secure compliance with the timely filing of any extensions and payments of all local,
state and federal tax liabilities due on a quarterly basis or as required.
TRADE STATION SECURITIES, INC. – Plantation, Florida
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – June 2007 to March 2009
 Reviewed & approved the work done by 3 staff accountants involving daily reconciliations of all cash accounts, i.e.,
operational, money market, and customer reserve accounts, customer billing, credit adjustments, payroll entries,
prepaid charges, accrued liabilities & expenses, including sales commissions and depreciation; also responsible for the
daily gathering of financial data from several internet sources to update various schedules and prepare journal entries.
 Supervised the month end closing process in the Great Plains system including the review and reconciliation of
