1. Precision Products offers a trade in program for customers that
buy our refurbished idler rolls. When you need replacements, we
will accept your old (PPI made) idler as a trade in and give you up
to $100 credit depending on the size of the roll. No other company
offers this trade in program. We stock drop in replacements for
OEM as well as Temco separator rollers.

base related to yarn handling.
Idler rolls are an important part of the
yarn extrusion process and due to the
high speed that idlers operate, balanc-ing
is critical. PPI balances our rollers
at 15,000rpms and includes a spec
sheet in each roller as proof that each
one is properly balanced. We also
manufacture the shell on the latest
CNC equipment available to ensure
concentricity.
Our large idler rolls (also known as
tension, separator or pin rolls) contain
high precision/high speed ball bearings
rated at 30,000rpms continuous duty.
All rollers are plated with a matte fin-ish
durable industrial hard chrome
coating to ensure proper grip at
startup.
PPI offers a wide range of idler rolls to
fit popular extrusion lines such as Fil-teco,
Neumag, Barmag, Reiter and
Plantex. We can also make custom
sizes if needed to fit your application.
PPI is located in Dalton, GA and
maintains inventory of many of the
popular sizes such as 4”, 6” 9.5”, 12.5”
( 100mm, 150mm, 240mm, 320mm)
and diameters up to 60mm. We also
offer eccentric mounted idlers and
many other popular sizes and types.
