Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) is a sheet stacking process that builds 3D objects by bonding together successive layers of material. A laser cuts the cross-section patterns of each layer from a roll of paper or plastic sheet. The layers are then laminated together to form the final part one cross-section at a time.
