The OCAP Research model fits nicely into the relational research model espoused by authors such as Dr. Niall McElwee from The Dissertation Doctor's Clinic in Ireland. In 2005, he and some colleagues from Ireland and Canada published a book following extensive field research in both countries. In this book, they write about 'doing' qualitative research - the ethical way.

within the First Nations communities
