This document provides guidance for cosmetologists on properly contouring eyebrows. It discusses the importance of clients' eyes and making them look attractive. It also outlines that cosmetologists must be able to identify different facial structures, use the structures to measure and shape eyebrows appropriately, and select shapes that suit each client's face. Finally, it lists the main facial structures as oval, pear, square, diamond, round, triangular, and heart and wishes cosmetologists good luck in their eyebrow contouring endeavors.
2. Your
clients’ eyes are two of the most
important assets you have.
Taking care of them is very important as they
are a focal point on their faces when they
present themselves to someone.
Equally important is making their eyes and
face beautiful so when they make eye
contact with people they must say, “WOW!
Look at those eyes.” “ Where did they get
that done?”
4. As
a Cosmetologist you must be able to do
the following with respect to eyebrow
contouring:
- Identify Facial Structures
- Use the facial structure to perform
appropriate measurement for contouring
eyebrows
- Use relevant methods and equipment
to actually shape the eyebrows.
5. Firstly
you must be able to recognize the
different facial structures of your clients.
For example:
- Oval
- Pear
- Square
- Diamond
- Round
- Triangular
- Heart
6. Next,
as the professional in the field you
must use your expertise to suggest the most
appropriate eyebrow shape to suit your
clients’ face.
- This can be done by referring to a
facial recognition chart which can be on
display at your station for moments of
doubt.
9. Now
that you have identified the facial
structure of your client it is now time to do
your measurement to match the eyebrow
contour to their face shape.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR ENDEVOURS IN THIS
ASPECT OF YOUR COURSE!
