The At The Royal Chinese Restaurant
For a restaurant that's practically busy most of the time and serves many people, this is the best restaurant where a variety of customers can
expand their palate and try this Chinese food experience. This place is the type of Chinese restaurant that was everywhere in Toronto back in the
day, but now? It's quickly becoming a novelty. The Royal Chinese Restaurant is located on Sheppard Ave E in a plaza complex. To actually get
into the restaurant? Hectic. Reservations only by telephone or if you're lucky, a table for 2 will be ready in a blink of an eye. The Royal Chinese
Restaurant has a banquet effect to it's style with advertisements of specials lined up against the wall, but only written in Chinese. The service was
very quick and fast. The waiters/waitresses were very polite and friendly towards each and every customer, giving a warm welcome and making the
customers feel comfortable within the dining environment. One particular dish that I had ordered was the shrimp and rice dish. The shrimp was
cooked to perfection. The colour was perfectly pink and not translucent. Not overcooked and not undercooked. Just right for my taste. One bite into of
the shrimps and it was juicy. Presentation wise, the shrimp was cut down the middle with the shell still on and was placed in the middle of the rice
bowl for a clean and appropriate presentation. With the clear juices running from the shrimp and onto the glutinous rice for a more shrimp tasting dish.
The glutinous rice was cooked to

Essay on Cheesecake Factory
Often times when in conversation with friends, peers, and even strangers there is one question that seems to always come up; "What is your favorite
restaurant?" People are curious in seeing what type of restaurant you like because when revealing that information it tells more about you than you
think. When telling somebody where you enjoy eating it gives them a sense of how much you're willing to spend for a good meal, what side of town
you like to go to and even gives them a slight glance at your personality. When asked that question I undoubtingly respond the same way every time;

There are so many different restaurants serving so many different types of food. There are Chinese restaurants, Japanese restaurants, Classic American
restaurants, Italian restaurants, it makes it difficult to decide what to eat at dinner time. What gives a restaurant the upper hand over its competition?
The Cheesecake factory has some key strengths that keeps it running at a high level. The Cheesecake Factory has a low employee turnover rate.
That means that once they hire somebody the person usually keeps the job for a long time. Of course you have situations and instances where some
employees have to be let go for whatever reason, but when you check your numbers as to how many had to go verses how many are still working in
good standings, you have to tip your hat to your employment staff. Another strength of the Cheesecake Factory is that they have such a large variety
of dishes and desserts. Variety is key when in the restaurant business because many times there are so many other restaurant that are serving the same
style, if not the same exact dishes as you. The Cheesecake factory have hundreds of different cheesecakes to choose from. You will not find another
restaurant with that much variety in their desserts. Their main courses and appetizers follow suit with amazingly large selection. One more advantage
of the Cheesecake Factory is its ability to appeal to various kinds of people; in other words, location location location!!! The

Having customer value is very important. Customer value is determined by customers' perception of what they get in exchange for what they have to
give up. In order to meet the buyer's expectations, the salesperson must be fully honest and lead the buyers at their best interests and needs.
Salespeople must let the buyers explain themselves in order to deliver the things they need. It is also important to fully understand the product they are
selling in order for the buyers to trust everything you say. If you do not know anything about the product, the buyers will undermine you and brush you
off because you are no longer help to that buyer. Product knowledge is one of the main keys to trust–based relationship selling. Buyers never want to
feel pushed, manipulated, or rushed. Sales professionalism is another factor into having a buyer and seller trust based relationship. This method is a
way to approach customers in a trusting and non–manipulating tactic to satisfy the long–term needs of both the customer and the selling firm.
Salespeople play a critical role on the sales floor. Almost all consumers in the society who are early adopters of an innovation often rely on
salespeople as a primary source of information. Given the increasing importance of building a trust bond and developing a long–term relationship is an
imperative that salespeople are truthful with the customers. It is important for salespeople to

One of the reasons is because the ordering system implemented is very interactive and straight–forward. Based on our research regarding Sushiro
Kaiten Sushi, one of the features that makes it more outstanding than the other two is that they have an alert notification which produced sound so that
customer will be notified when they hear the sound that indicates their order is ready.
We took into account a few factors to develop our restaurant ordering system. We have planned to use some of the features from the previous case
study. One of the features that we will try to apply into our system is list of ordered menu. This feature will let the customer to add or remove the
menu before place order and able to view the total price.
As for the conclusions, all the restaurants ordering system that we referred on are going to be the indicator for us to develop an efficient system. We
would try to adapt their elements into our system as well. This is the main reason why we conducted the literature review researched earlier as it is
very useful for us to get the clear picture on what we have to do to develop the

Food Culture Essay
Factors Influencing Food Habits and Culture Eating food is essential for all of us, it keep us alive and also gives us enjoyment at the same time.
Food can be defined as any substance that can be metabolized by an animal to give energy and build tissue. (ilearn) In ancient time, when people feel
hungry, they eat. However, as human history keep developing and evolving, we have a higher standard on choosing food that we like to eat
nowadays. In this paper, we are going to evaluate factors that are influencing our food habits and food culture. Those factors can be divided into two
main categories, internal factors (individual preference and values) and external factors (geographical, religion, social, economic and political). Internal

Another example would be Chinese like to eat hot pot in winter to keep them warm. In the northern part of China, there are more spicy dishes than
the southern part of China. This is because eating spicy food will keep people warm. In costal region, there is more seafood than the inland region.
The reason is because it is easier to get fresh seafood in costal region than in the inland region. Japan is an island surrounded by sea, and that is
why eating seafood is famous in Japan. Some locations are better for growing specific food, for example China have the climate advantage in
growing tea, and France have the advantage in growing wine. Religion is another external factors influencing food habits and food culture.
Different culture has different religion, different religion has different custom and food is an important part of a religion. Some religion such as
Muslims, consider eating pork as a dirty food, and people should not eat them. Buddhism do not recommend members to eat meat, because they
think that is cruel to kill an animal and that we should respect them so we should not eat them. Therefore, a lot of Buddhism followers are
vegetarians. Hinduism followers do not eat cow because they think that cows are scarce. People who believe in a religion will follow the rules of the
religion, so this will influence their food habit. Some religions do not have rules about food, but they have specific food to eat.

On average, Melbourne is 8% less expensive than Sydney, which does not seem like a critical amount, but can add up over the course of a year
(ABS 2011). In terms of options, Melbourne really laps Sydney. Melbourne is home to not only a Chinatown, but also a Greek precinct, a Little
Italy, and laneways with dozens of understated gems. Sydney's main dining districts are by the touristy locations like the Rocks and Darling
Harbor. There are few places where it is possible to just happen to stumble upon a cafГ©, unless one departs from the CBD to the various
surrounding suburbs, like Newtown or Marrickville. Luke Mangan, a chef and restaurateur, says, when comparing Sydney and Melbourne,

authentic Chinatown and gritty, hipster East Village are represented in the restaurant's classic Chinese dishes and western metropolitan vibe. The

Analysis Of Bitner 's Servicecape ( Fig ) Essay
Bitner's Servicecape (Fig:1) and M–R (Fig:2) below indicates proposed framework to use as foundation for this study. For example, academics must
analyse relevant literature, theories and analytical models that are relevant to the framework, and are related to the area of study. And the selected
theory must also depend on the applicability, ease of execution and justifications. Figure 1: Servicecape Model – by Mary J Bitner
"Bitner's framework can be a useful tool in enhancing a 'food and beverage' experience while certain servicescape components are emphasized" (Bitner,
1992). Figure 2: M–R Model
This modified M–R Model has extended to test various service environments such as restaurants, hotels, casinos, sports stadiums and events. And this
theory has been widely proposed by researchers, and has been successfully adopted by services organisations (Wakefield & Blodgett, 2016). Thus, we
will apply this framework in our study, as it is a suitable fit for identifying the influence of the restaurant environment on consumer behaviour.
Methodology
Design: The aim of the current study is exploring the influence of restaurant environment on consumer behaviour. In gathering the primary data, an
administered survey questionnaires will be distributed to participants (the diners) at nominated restaurants, while they are awaiting for their checks or
as they are preparing to leave after meals. This method ensures that the participants' will give realistic responses which can

Restaurant Demographic Analysis
Before we can even start a restaurant at all, we have to go for analyzation of the demographic and psycho–graphic of our location. And according to the
toronto.ca/wps/portal/contentonly the location we choose is mostly populated by Chinese, the Koreans, Cantonese and others Asia, non–Asia,
immigrant and citizens. The percentage of those in the neighborhood between the ages of 25– 64 is 64.1%, followed by young youth with 19.3%,
followed by seniors with 10.5 %, leaving a percentage of 6.1% to children. This is good for us because we know that 97% of the area is a rental
apartment and with fewer children in the area, most family will not worry too much about spending food outside. The seniors who are mostly Asian
immigrant who will crave for their homeland foods and our restaurant is an ideal place for them to come and dine and wine. (http://www1.toronto.ca

Advantages Of Qualitative Research
5 Qualitative Research
5.1 Methodology
As the aim of the research is to identify the relationship between the CSR and the brand trust, focus group would be the most appropriate approach to
collect a diverse range of individuals' opinions in a short time (Rabiee, 2007). Moreover, Focus group would encourage participants to communicate
with each other, which would generate more data which cannot be collected by one–to–one depth interview, this could be termed as "the group effect"
(Carey & Smith 1994). Morgan & Krueger (1993) also point out that focus group would observe the participants' attitude about the social problems.
The objective of qualitative research is to collect the individuals' views and support the quantitative research design. The focus group is considered as a
technique, which implements the depth group interview to collect the data and evaluate the identified variables are relevant for the study (Rabiee,
2007). Richardson & Rabiee (2001) argue that participants should be selected according to the following criteria: First, they have the relevant life
experiences and have something to state on the topic. Second, it would be better that they are not fearful of expressing the opinions among the
participants. Third, they could feel comfortable communicating with each other.
To collect more valuable data, the focus group was divided into two groups, each group has 5 participants. They were conducted in one of the group
members' flat on 1st November and 2nd

Argumentative Essay On Fast Food
Heading to volleyball practice one Sunday night for practice from 7–9:30 p.m., I asked my mom if we could stop and get Arby's for dinner. Of course
her response was 'No Kate, I made dinner at home and you can eat after practice." Even though thinking that eating so late was bizarre and despite
the fact that I was starving, that's what my life became. My mom pretty much only cooked dinner at home and we rarely ate out because she
claimed it was cheaper and eating out is unnecessary when she can cook at home. Usually I didn't mind, except when I was really hungry, because I
love my mom's cooking, but eventually I grew used to late night dinners. My life became busy days (school and sports) and scarfing down dinner at
10:30 at night when I got home from practice. This is what I grew up on and what I thought was the best dinner option; cheap, healthy good tasting food
. But this all changed when my friends and I all got our license and fast food quickly replaced homecooked meals. We were always going out and
getting fast food. I soon started to realize that eating out really wasn't that bad. Despite all the negative post on the internet and talk amongst
people of how unhealthy fast food is and claiming of it not being real food; it really can't be as bad for you as long as you don't eat it every day and
you watch what you eat. It didn't break my bank account like I expected and I never had to eat at 10:30 p.m. because I could just grab something on
the way to practice. Another plus with so many fast food joints in Springfield, IL. I was never limited to what I could eat and how much I ate.
To begin, my mom always claimed fast food was really expensive, which I could see how your meal could add up in cost. It really all depends on
where you eat and how much you eat. Or you could always play it safely and go to a buffet during lunch time, because they always have a cheaper
deal during the lunch period and you can eat as much as you want (plus dessert is always included). I know during summer for like two–week
straights, I would go to the Mexican restaurant in Springfield and eat for only like $4. My friends and I pretty much cheated the system; we would
just order a water and chips with salsa, which is free then by

Yummy Food at P.F. Changs and Pei Wei Chinese Resturants...
After eating at two different Chinese restaurant with the same delicious mouth watering food, I have came to realize that there are many contributing
factors that makes each of these restaurants different in their own ways. In determining which restaurant is the best for you, there are some major
factors that can alter your decision as we take into consideration the pros and cons of each based on your personal necessity. Many people who eat out
would really consider things such as if the food tastes good, the cost, a friendly environment, and good service. The most important thing to always
remember is if the restaurant is suitable for you. Although some similarities do exist between P.F Changes and Pei Wei, there is many more difference...

We sometimes pick and choose many things depending on the cost, for example, the money we spend on food also depends on where the right
place to eat is. Keeping in mind that the food served at both is the same; you may like to save some extra money in your pocket. The food at P.F
changes is more cost worthy. Instead, at Pei Wei it is not, because you actually pay for the amount of food you get. When deciding to go to P.F
Chang's, it is smart to remember the additional charges they may add to the entrГ©e simply because of the restaurant expenses. The food is in
family portions which does not give everybody on your table a distinct choice of food. You may have to end up ordering a variety of family
portion entrГ©e to accompany everybody on your table. Ordering many more family entrees can make the bill be higher than expected. At Pei
Wei, the entrees are reasonably priced not to mention that they are the usual servings for one person. Rather than having to get five whole entire
family portions of different things to satisfy everyone, it is better and also cheaper for each person to personalize their plate. Something many
people do not keep in mind when going to restaurants is the tip you have to consider at the end of your bill. If you go to Pei Wei, you do not need to
tip, but if you go to P.F Chang's with a large group there is usually a recommended tip on the bill. Little

Key definition for Service Experience
Before going over the issues of the service performance, it is very crucial to know the components of service experience which are categorized into
four components: the service workers, the service setting, the service customers and the service process. The service workers include those who
interact with the customer (such as waiters or bank tellers) and those who contribute to the service delivery out of the customer's sight (such as chefs
or bank accountants). The service setting includes physical environment in which the service occurs. The service customers are the ones that are
receiving the service. Last of all is the service process, which is the sequence of activities necessary to deliver the service (Fisk, Grove & John, 2014,
p.21).

Fast Foods And Fast Food Essay
Fast food is one of the easiest ways to get food and eat it in a hurry. More people have been eating fast food rather than eating at home for years. The
rate of fast food consumption has not slowed in over fifteen years (North). Americans in today's society are busier than they have been. With people
being busy they cannot find an easy way to make dinner, so they go to fast food restaurants to get food on the go. Many Americans also believe they
are too busy to go shopping for groceries. Being busy is not the only thing that makes people eat fast food on the go. Why are numerous Americans
eating fast food and not homemade food? Fast food is convenient and cheap for people who do not have time to cook or if they are too lazy.
Advertisements encourage Americans to eat fast food as well.
American lives have changed over the years, and eating habits have too. With people having jobs with schedules they can barely work around, fast
food is a must for them to get a meal in a time crunch. More people prefer to get food on the go rather than take the time to make homemade food.
Home–cooked meals are slowly dying due to people being busy and choosing to eat fast food. More people today stop at fast food restaurants to get the
food they can eat anywhere if they are on the run. When people go out of town for the weekend, fast food is an easy meal to eat in the car. Fast food
is also an easy meal to eat while shopping in a hurry.

House Of Chan Artifact Essay
My first artifact is the House of Chan's menu. I chose this because I love food and the idea of early types of food in the 1800 till now fascinates me
mostly its price. The menu was made when the restaurant was built in 1957. The building was founded by Irv Howard and is located at Bathurst Street
and Eglinton Avenue West, which sadly closed, but they built a new one on 514 Eglinton Ave and Penny Lyons later on. The menu show the prices of
the food in which they were selling. The prices are so amazing that with just 10$ I can eat my breakfast lunch and dinner and still have some cash
left. When the first House of Chan was built it was around the time of the Vietnam War when America was fighting Vietnam to stop communist from
spreading. What shock me the most was that even when China were communist people still accept their food and there culture. In one of website that

The At The Royal Chinese Restaurant

  • 1. The At The Royal Chinese Restaurant For a restaurant that's practically busy most of the time and serves many people, this is the best restaurant where a variety of customers can expand their palate and try this Chinese food experience. This place is the type of Chinese restaurant that was everywhere in Toronto back in the day, but now? It's quickly becoming a novelty. The Royal Chinese Restaurant is located on Sheppard Ave E in a plaza complex. To actually get into the restaurant? Hectic. Reservations only by telephone or if you're lucky, a table for 2 will be ready in a blink of an eye. The Royal Chinese Restaurant has a banquet effect to it's style with advertisements of specials lined up against the wall, but only written in Chinese. The service was very quick and fast. The waiters/waitresses were very polite and friendly towards each and every customer, giving a warm welcome and making the customers feel comfortable within the dining environment. One particular dish that I had ordered was the shrimp and rice dish. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The colour was perfectly pink and not translucent. Not overcooked and not undercooked. Just right for my taste. One bite into of the shrimps and it was juicy. Presentation wise, the shrimp was cut down the middle with the shell still on and was placed in the middle of the rice bowl for a clean and appropriate presentation. With the clear juices running from the shrimp and onto the glutinous rice for a more shrimp tasting dish. The glutinous rice was cooked to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

For example, academics must analyse relevant literature, theories and analytical models that are relevant to the framework, and are related to the area of study. And the selected theory must also depend on the applicability, ease of execution and justifications. Figure 1: Servicecape Model – by Mary J Bitner "Bitner's framework can be a useful tool in enhancing a 'food and beverage' experience while certain servicescape components are emphasized" (Bitner, 1992). And this theory has been widely proposed by researchers, and has been successfully adopted by services organisations (Wakefield & Blodgett, 2016). Advantages Of Qualitative Research 5 Qualitative Research 5.1 Methodology As the aim of the research is to identify the relationship between the CSR and the brand trust, focus group would be the most appropriate approach to collect a diverse range of individuals' opinions in a short time (Rabiee, 2007). Moreover, Focus group would encourage participants to communicate with each other, which would generate more data which cannot be collected by one–to–one depth interview, this could be termed as "the group effect" (Carey & Smith 1994). Morgan & Krueger (1993) also point out that focus group would observe the participants' attitude about the social problems. The objective of qualitative research is to collect the individuals' views and support the quantitative research design. The focus group is considered as a technique, which implements the depth group interview to collect the data and evaluate the identified variables are relevant for the study (Rabiee, 2007). Richardson & Rabiee (2001) argue that participants should be selected according to the following criteria: First, they have the relevant life experiences and have something to state on the topic. Second, it would be better that they are not fearful of expressing the opinions among the participants. Third, they could feel comfortable communicating with each other. Of course her response was 'No Kate, I made dinner at home and you can eat after practice." Even though thinking that eating so late was bizarre and despite the fact that I was starving, that's what my life became. My mom pretty much only cooked dinner at home and we rarely ate out because she claimed it was cheaper and eating out is unnecessary when she can cook at home. Usually I didn't mind, except when I was really hungry, because I love my mom's cooking, but eventually I grew used to late night dinners. My life became busy days (school and sports) and scarfing down dinner at 10:30 at night when I got home from practice. This is what I grew up on and what I thought was the best dinner option; cheap, healthy good tasting food . But this all changed when my friends and I all got our license and fast food quickly replaced homecooked meals. We were always going out and getting fast food. I soon started to realize that eating out really wasn't that bad. Despite all the negative post on the internet and talk amongst people of how unhealthy fast food is and claiming of it not being real food; it really can't be as bad for you as long as you don't eat it every day and you watch what you eat. It didn't break my bank account like I expected and I never had to eat at 10:30 p.m. because I could just grab something on the way to practice. Another plus with so many fast food joints in Springfield, IL. I was never limited to what I could eat and how much I ate. To begin, my mom always claimed fast food was really expensive, which I could see how your meal could add up in cost. It really all depends on where you eat and how much you eat. Or you could always play it safely and go to a buffet during lunch time, because they always have a cheaper deal during the lunch period and you can eat as much as you want (plus dessert is always included). I know during summer for like two–week straights, I would go to the Mexican restaurant in Springfield and eat for only like $4. In determining which restaurant is the best for you, there are some major factors that can alter your decision as we take into consideration the pros and cons of each based on your personal necessity. Many people who eat out would really consider things such as if the food tastes good, the cost, a friendly environment, and good service. The most important thing to always remember is if the restaurant is suitable for you. Although some similarities do exist between P.F Changes and Pei Wei, there is many more difference... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... We sometimes pick and choose many things depending on the cost, for example, the money we spend on food also depends on where the right place to eat is. Keeping in mind that the food served at both is the same; you may like to save some extra money in your pocket. The food at P.F changes is more cost worthy. Instead, at Pei Wei it is not, because you actually pay for the amount of food you get. When deciding to go to P.F Chang's, it is smart to remember the additional charges they may add to the entrГ©e simply because of the restaurant expenses. The food is in family portions which does not give everybody on your table a distinct choice of food. You may have to end up ordering a variety of family portion entrГ©e to accompany everybody on your table. Ordering many more family entrees can make the bill be higher than expected. At Pei Wei, the entrees are reasonably priced not to mention that they are the usual servings for one person. Rather than having to get five whole entire family portions of different things to satisfy everyone, it is better and also cheaper for each person to personalize their plate. Something many people do not keep in mind when going to restaurants is the tip you have to consider at the end of your bill.
