Building on the successful Young SDG Innovators Programme, the UN Global Compact is
proud to introduce the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals, a nine-month
development programme designed to accelerate business innovation to achieve the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme activates young business
professionals and changemakers, challenging them to rethink traditional business models
and unlocking new business opportunity.
This programme targets:
▪ High-performing employees at
participating companies of the
UN Global Compact
▪ Participants must be 35 years
or younger
▪ Interest in business-model
innovation, sustainability and
disruptive technologies
▪ Ability to dedicate a minimum
of five (5) hours a month to the
Accelerator
As a young professional working
at a participating company of the
UN Global Compact and your Global
Compact Local Network, you are
eligible to nominate yourself for this
Accelerator programme.
As a participating company of
the UN Global Compact and your
Global Compact Local Network,
your company is eligible to
nominate up to four teams of up
to four high-performing young
professionals per team for this
Accelerator programme.

The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is designed to engage young leaders
working at UN Global Compact companies in driving innovation in their organization and delivering
tangible solutions with potential market and social value for their company.
This Accelerator aims at fostering a new community of emerging leaders disrupting traditional ways
of doing business and spearheading change for true SDG impact.
