1. How to add template data studio page to report
Data Studio comes with a variety of models for the study. They appear in the panel at the top of
the REPORTS home page, as well as in the list of reports shared with you. The template report

models to easily generate your own amazing reports! By adding your own data source to a copy
of the Data Studio report, you will have an attractive, fully functioning report in seconds!
The Create New Report dialog lists the original data sources that are currently attached to the
format on the left. On the right, you can pick the data studio sources you want to use in your
copied report. If the original data base has been exchanged with you, you will use it. Or, at any
time, you can use one of your own data sources, or even build a new one.
In a second, you're going to get your own copy of the sample article. You can change the report
by modifying the mode of editing, by using the toggle in the upper right corner. Give your
article a new name by modifying the name "Copy of " in the upper left corner.
Use any report as a template
Any report in the Data Studio can be used as a template. Only save a copy of the article and
overwrite the original source(s) with your own:
View the report.
In the upper right, click Copy icon.
In the Create new report dialog, select the data source(s) to use.
You should add a USE TEMPLATE button to the report at the end of the report URL. This button
lets the report work just like a sample report installed into the Data Studio. This makes it much
easier for you to build models for your own reports.
If you add a data source that does not fit the schema of the original data source, the report
charts and controls which be broken (because they do not have access to the measurements
and metrics from which they were built).
For example, if you produce a report using the Google Merchandise Store sample, you can
substitute the Google Analytics data source with a comparable Google Analytics data source
that has embraced Google Analytics' Ecommerce features.
2. Since Google Data Studio is extremely adjustable, you can be hit by decision paralysis. There
are so many plug-in, drop-downs, metric formats and alternatives that, unless you have a deep
experience in data processing, you may not be sure how to proceed at any given time.
The more data you capture, the more unwieldy it develops. That is, whether you have a
mechanism for combining constituent data sets, structuring them logically and visualizing them
outside their own zeros.
As long as you have an existing Gmail account, it is already open to you as part of the Google
Marketing Platform.
You will automatically have access to the full gallery of models and integration, but the actual
handling and maintenance of your dashboards is up to you to connect the results. From
there, Data Studio template is just what you make of it.
