1. PDHPE RATIONALE
PDHPE is one essential KLA, assisting student’s gains knowledge and
understanding of skills and values needed to lead a healthy and
active lifestyle.
2. Key benefits of physical activity;
Improve cardiovascular fitness
Improve coordination, strength and balance
Improve gross and fine motor skills (dribbling the ball) and

4. PDHPE helps to promote healthy eating and knowledge of
‘sometimes food’ which guides children toward a long and
healthy lifestyle so they are able to make a healthy decision.
