Dave McGrath is responsible
for international business
development.
Dave joined Pathway in
1995, holds 7 US Patents
on either expansion joint
or damper innovations, has
edited industry developments
articles or has articles published about his product or
other initiatives in over a dozen magazines including:
Power, EL&P, Power Engineering, Offshore, etc and
presented papers at forums such as PowerGen. Prior
to Pathway, Dave worked as Business Development
Manager for the Information Services Division of
Halliburton - Brown & Root - NUS.
Dave received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from
Villanova University.

A cornerstone of Senior Flexonics Pathway is the
sharing of the sum of our technical knowledge.

The morning session will focus on piping layout, types,
components and the optimum use of expansion
joint styles. Models of the hardware geometry and
animations of the applications and movements of
various complex configurations such as; in-line and
pressure balanced elbows and double gimbal-hinge
layouts will be shown.
The working lunch will demonstrate the specialized
manufacturing processes with fabrication videos
of; stake welding, expanding mandrel, roll and hydro
forming, resistance welding, trimming, etc.
The afternoon session will be dedicated to the Catofin
process and detail design requirements; floating rings,
purge labyrinth, reverse bevel/plug welds, ply testable
bellows, philosophical approaches to resolving low
allowable stresses. New advanced innovations to
mitigate coking problems.
