Jorge Ruiz is a manufacturing engineer with experience in new product introduction, project management, and various forming processes like brake, hydro, and stretch forming. He has strong skills in CAD software like Catia and process improvement tools. He is currently a Manufacturing Engineer II at UTC Aerospace Systems where he is responsible for new product development and implementation of engineering changes. Previously he worked at Triumph Insulation Systems where he supported first article development. He has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
Prezentacja na kurs pierwszej pomocy. Zajęcia 1 - podstawowe schematy ratownicze.
Presentation from first aid course. Topic 1 - basic rescue algorithms. In Polish.
Microbial sampling in building surveys what and whyMaria Nunez
The building microbiome exists only in places where water activity lies or has lied over 0.75. This leaves most of the visible surfaces out as sources for microbes. Building scientists MUST og Beyond surfaces when sampling. Talking about the ecology of microbes on dry building surfaces is as useful as talking about the ecology of textile fibers on the same surfaces. Ecology happens when microbes are active, or at least alive. A dead pathogen is not a pathogen any longer

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER II – New Product Introduction May 2013 – Present
Working closely with designers, project engineers, quality engineers and production control to successfully
accomplish new product introduction, new product development and implement new engineering changes.
Responsible for creating manufacturing routings, standard work, fabrication tooling for sheet metal forming and
sub-assemblies.
Duties:
Create plan for new product introduction (Define deliverables and assigning tasks).
Create manufacturing routing/planning & illustrated planning.
Coordinate first article runs and assure a lean product stability.
Coordinate tooling transfer between sites, improve tooling design.
Benchmark incoming manufacturing process to be implemented.
Customer Specifications Interpretation (GD&T).
Create solid models of tooling aids on Catia, coordinate fabrication and implement it on
manufacturing process.
Implement new manufacturing process such as forming, trimming, sealants application and/or
assembly processes.
Create/update standard work.
Attend meetings, write reports and give presentations to management & value stream program.
Apply lean/six sigma tools to improve manufacturing processes (VSM, MFA, SIPOC, 5’S, standard
work sheets, Kaizen events participation).
Improve the fabrication and assembly process sequence, balancing the line using standard work
operations, reducing the assembly process time 60%.
