1. Green Architecture Essay
Green Architecture is a method to reduce the impact on our environment by using natural resources
like energy, water, and the materials that are used in the structure recycled materials or the fixtures
used in the home with energy saving features, as well as making a healthier environment. With
high–efficiency windows and high value insulation in the walls and floors you're your energy would
take less too cool or heat up that area.
Written by BOB BOB BOB May 2010 "The history of a green building goes back further than the
70's in the middle of the industrial revolution that Henri Becquerel first witnessed the transformation
of solar energy into electrical energy. Around this time, the late 1800's to early 1900's, a number of

The use of fans, vents and blowers are used to distribute the heat in the areas that are needed when
a roof and walls are built they are made to be well insulated with the windows letting in heat the
insulation in the ceiling and walls absorb it and slowly letting off the heat. If an area is a little
bigger than sky lights or more windows are used to bring in more heat.
With the landscape of the outside in mind as well if you have plants that require more attention
then that cost more energy to take care of them. Think of plants that use less water conserving
energy will take less to heat or cool your home if you were to have an asphalt drive then it will put
off more heat making your use of air conditioning higher to keep the home cool use a natural source
of rock to lessen the energy in the home.
If you were to do your laundry or the main energy usage on a sunny or windy day your going to
have more energy to complete your entire task then you wouldn't be using your back energy to
complete them that is going require the most of your energy sources.
Making a home with multi function energy sources gives a wide variety of endless energy with all
of them combined it can easily give energy to a home. There is going to be sunny days for your
solar energy windy and rainy days for your energy as well so having all sources will make an easier
life for your home and less hectic.

2. Going Green Essay
GOING GREEN BY RECYCLING Have you ever wanted to help the environment but you just
didn't know how? If you have, there are several easy ways that you can go green and still help the
environment. What does it mean to "go green?" It means to make choices that reduce, minimize, or
even attempt to reverse the negative impact of our actions on earth and its resources. Also, to find
ways to preclude human actions that contribute to the extinction of rare plants, and animals. Going
Green also means to recycle and find innovative ways to release the most common e–waste such as
computers, televisions, telephones, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines. In addition, going
green means addressing the causes of global warming and what can be done...show more content...
People throw these bags away anyways so why not just take a reusable bag that can be used
multiple times instead of only once. In addition, the plastic bags take a long time to decompose
so you are harming the environment. Instead of creating so much garbage, you can bring your
reusable bag to the store so that you can certify that you are one less person that is filling up our
landfills. The more people that reuse their items, the more safer the environment becomes, not
only for yourself but for everyone. After discussing reusing, we can discuss about reducing.
Reducing is another way to go green and help the environment. By reducing the way you utilize
your materials you create less garbage on the planet. One of the ways you can help is by avoiding
using materials such as paper plates, cups, forks and spoons because they create a lot of waste.
Instead of using these materials, you can use dishes that can be washed and reused. It does not
take very long to wash a couple of dishes. Eventually we are going to run out of a place to store
our garbage. Our landfills are already filling up rapidly so you can avoid contributing to the
overfilling. Another way of reducing is by avoiding wasting materials like paper. You should use all
materials wisely. These simple things can contribute a lot even though you may think that these
things are unnecessary. Our top priority right now should be to do everything

3. Going Green Essay
Going Green Lately the phrase "going green" has become a part of everyday discussion and debate.
People are being told to turn off the lights, buy energy–saving appliances, and drive less. What
people are not being told is why, specifically. Global warming is the increase of the Earth's
average temperature. Greenhouse gases are the cause of this problem; carbon dioxide, nitrogen
oxide and methane (1). Normally the earth's atmosphere lets these gases in but does not release all
of it. The excess gases keep the plant warm enough to sustain life. However over time, the
atmosphere has sustained damage from chemicals, like the ones released in fossil fuels, and now the
planet is heating up too much too fast. Even just a few degrees...show more content...
Most hybrids run use internal combustion engines and electrical motors (2). Internal combustion
engines require fuel to create a combustion reaction which powers the engine. An electric motor uses
electrical energy to produce mechanical energy which can then run the motor. An on–board
rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) stores enough energy, which is also rechargeable, to
run the electric motor (2). To lower fuel consumption, the RESS regenerates power, or energy,
through regenerative breaking or sometimes through the combustion engine. Regenerative
breaking uses some of the energy produced by the car when accelerating and stores it. This is why
hybrid cars cannot compete in the market for speed. In more modern models, a mechanism
allows for energy to be taken from the combustion engine to charge the cars battery or electrical
motor (2). In the sense of "going green", hybrids reduce idle emissions by shutting off the ICE
during idle times, like stop lights and traffic, and then restarting it when the car needs to move. A
smaller and more efficient engine also cuts back on power compared to large engines where all the
parts may not be used, but need to be powered, thus reducing emissions (2). Other benefits from
HEVs are noise–level reduction and air pollution. The goal of hybrid manufactures is to run vehicles
without the use of fuel. However, this is a new market and the
