5. This was my favorite kickstarter to analyze for its write up section. At the very
beginning, it states why the product is important, a one sentence description, and
shows you where the product has been featured. I felt like they were credible. I
also enjoyed how detailed it is. It also used text, pictures, AND video/audio. They
did a fantastic job- and it showed! They met their pledge goal.
8. Even though this wasn't my favorite product, they had a great write up! I enjoyed
all the pictures and thought their explanation of their product was good. I also
thought they did a good job about covering all the topics. At the end of the write up
is timeline informing people of production schedules. I thought they did a good job!
11. Even though this company met their pledge goal, they had a weak write up
section. It was very very small and not at all detailed. I could fit the whole write up
on half a page of my screed. I also thought that they talked about their risks and
challenges almost as much as the product. I felt like this could have used some
extra TLC.
14. This write up felt more like a short blog post to me. It was
formatted more like a personal letter than a section for
information about the product or service. It had no pictures and
little description. At the end she put P.S’s. That was one of the
last things I saw on her page and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I
lost some of her credibility and I think this is why this company
did not reach their goal.
