Many companies can “fix computers.” But managing an IT infrastructure, particularly one of significant size,
requires more than just technical skill. At Connectability, we believe that IT management requires clearly
defined, repeatable and predictable processes in order to be successful. Otherwise, it is simply haphazard
guesswork. Our team is constantly developing, refining and re-examining a comprehensive set of process
documents that we use for everything from installing a new workstation to performing a site survey or re-
engineering an entire network. Before any work gets done, the assigned technical specialist reviews a written
checklist that must be followed to the letter. And before a task can be marked as finished, that checklist has to
be completed, signed and reviewed by a manager.
2. Multi-Platform Support:
We also believe that our customers need to have access to the most appropriate technology for every
requirement. That means that we cannot be tied to any one vendor or technology base. While many of our
competitors support only Windows or only Mac, Connectability has been supporting both platforms since
our inception in 1995. Connectability was also an early pioneer with Linux, deploying it in commercial
environments as early as 1995, years before it entered widespread use. We also have extensive experience in
UNIX and a broad array of communications technologies. And finally, our technical staff are fully versed in all
of the most popular mobile technologies, including: iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry.
