1. Being tagged along a terrible picture on Facebook is bad enough, however when you are
tagged so a spammers product appears in your news feed and also the news feed of the
Facebook friends is 10 times worse. One of the great benefits of being tagged is it increases
engagement. I know that every time I'm tagged in a photo I go and take a look. Once around
the person's page or their personal profile I usually take the time to poke around and find out
what they're up to. Plus I'll often leave a comment or two.
Several photos can actually deal huge blow on your reputation/image if you do not detect
and untag yourself from them before they go viral. Your pals begin to ring you up asking for
explanations why you should be on such photos then you would know how much dent it
would have created in your personality. Untag yourself from a photo on Facebook. It's not a
difficult task to untag yourself from a photo on Facebook. You only need to know the simple
steps to take in to deliver yourself. Below the photo, click 'Options', then on 'Report/Remove
Tag' link. You're shown a pop up window asking "What would you like to happen?" You've
two options to choose from: 1. 'I wish to untag myself', and a pair of. 'I want this photo
removed from Facebook'. Choose whatever option is best for you and click the 'Continue'
button. You are removed from the image. After that you get another pop window using the
message "Your tag continues to be removed." "You aren't tagged within this photo."
"Remember: This photo still appears in news feed, search and other places on Facebook."
Click "OK" button and that is all. You can now see that to untag yourself from the photo on
Facebook is not as difficult as you have thought.
2. You can tag anything and anyone from a friend, a page, a group, a celebration or an
application. Remember you have to be connected to the thing you're intending to tag. You
are eligible to tag multiple different components of a single post, six at the most. Write in the
publisher box anything you want to say about the person or thing you want to mention.
When you arrive at referring to their name, page or perhaps group, simply type the @
symbol, directly followed by their name, the page's or group's name. Make sure you do
leave an area before the @ but no space between the @ symbol and the name. A drop-
down menu will appear with any matching entries. You can either finish writing the name
yourself or chose in the menu. The name will appear as a blue link inside your post, to
ensure that people who review your post can click the link and directly visit the page or
person mentioned.
If you've been tagged you will receive a notification and you will also begin to see the post
show up on your wall having a paperclip symbol at the outset of the message. By doing this
you can follow when someone mentions you and what comments people increase it.
