3. Prime or Composite? My number is a composite number This number has more than 2 factors A prime number has only 2 factors 1 and itself A composite has more than 2 factors. For example; 21x1=21 7x3=21
4. Even or Odd? My number is an odd number. It is odd because it can not be divided evenly by the number 2. An even number can be divided by the number 2. For example: 20/2=10 (even outcome) 21/2=10.5 (not an even outcome)
5. Square or not to be square? The number 21 is not a square number. A square number has two of the same factors that can be multiplied together and the product will be that number. Example; 5x5=25 My number is not square because there are no two numbers multiplied together that will have the product of 21
6. Abundant, Deficient or Perfect? An abundant number means that the proper factors all added together is greater than the actual number. A deficient number means that all of the proper factors added together is less than the actual number. A perfect number means that all of the proper factors added together is exactly the same as the actual number. My number is deficient because 7+3+1=11 which is lower than 21.
