11. For the director of music. For flutes. A psalm of David.
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my sighing.
2 Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
3 In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.
7 But I, by your great mercy,
will come into your house;
in reverence will I bow down
toward your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
because of my enemies—
make straight your way before me.
12. 6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
7 for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
the flock under his care.
13. 1 To you I call, O LORD my Rock;
do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who have gone down to
the pit.
2 Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands
toward your Most Holy Place.
14. 3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest
of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
15. 45 I will walk about in freedom,
for I have sought out your precepts.
46 I will speak of your statutes before kings
and will not be put to shame,
47 for I delight in your commands
because I love them.
48 I lift up my hands to your commands,
which I love,
and I meditate on your decrees.
16. 1 Praise the LORD, all you servants of the
LORD
who minister by night in the house of the
LORD.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the LORD.
17. 8Let the morning bring me word of your
unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
18. 147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.
148 My eyes stay open through the watches of
the night,
that I may meditate on your promises.
149 Hear my voice in accordance with your
love;
preserve my life, O LORD, according to
your laws.
19. 14 I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches.
15 I meditate on your precepts
and consider your ways.
16 I delight in your decrees;
I will not neglect your word.
20. 5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
21. 11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long
ago.
12 I will meditate on all your works
and consider all your mighty deeds.
