2. Shout with joy to the
Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with
gladness. Come before
him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the
Lord is God! He made
us, and we are his. We
are his people, the
sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with
thanksgiving; go into his
courts with praise. Give
thanks to him and
praise his name. For the
Lord is good. His
unfailing love continues
forever, and his
faithfulness continues to
each generation. (Psalm
100)
3. Praise the Lord! Praise
God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his
mighty heaven! Praise
him for his mighty
works; praise his
unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a
blast of the ram’s
horn; praise him with
the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the
tambourine and
dancing; praise him
with strings and
flutes! Praise him with
a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud
clanging cymbals. Let
everything that
breathes sing praises
to the Lord! (Psalm
150)
4. Be filled with the Holy Spirit,
singing psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs among
yourselves, and making
music to the Lord in your
hearts. And give thanks for
everything to God the Father
in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
Now all glory to God, who is
able to keep you from falling
away and will bring you with
great joy into his glorious
presence without a single
fault. All glory to him who
alone is God, our Savior
through Jesus Christ our
Lord. All glory, majesty,
power, and authority are his
before all time, and in the
present, and beyond all time!
Amen. (Ephesians 5:18-20,
Jude 1:24-25)
5. Praise the Lord, all you
nations. Praise him, all
you people of the earth.
For his unfailing love for
us is powerful; the Lord’s
faithfulness endures
forever.
I will praise the Lord at
all times. I will constantly
speak his praises. I will
glory in the Lord; let the
afflicted hear and
rejoice. Glorify the Lord
with me; let us exalt his
name together. I sought
the Lord, and he
answered me; he
delivered me from all my
fears. (Psalm 117, Psalm
34:1-4)
6. Figs might not grow
on the fig trees, and
grapes might not grow
on the vines. Olives
might not grow on the
olive trees, and food
might not grow in the
fields. There might not
be any sheep in the
pens or cattle in the
barns. But I will still be
glad in the Lord and
rejoice in God my
Savior.
Always be full of joy.
Whatever happens,
always be thankful.
This is how God wants
you to live in Christ
Jesus. (Habakkuk 3:17-
18, 1 Thessalonians
5:16,18)
