2. John 13:31-32
31 When he was gone, Jesus said, “Now the
Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in
him. 32 If God is glorified in him, God will
glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him
at once.
3. John 12:23-28
23 Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the
Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell
you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the
ground and dies, it remains only a single
seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while
anyone who hates their life in this world will
keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me
must follow me; and where I am, my servant
also will be. My Father will honor the one who
serves me.
4. John 12:23-28
27 “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I
say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it
was for this very reason I came to this hour.
28 Father, glorify your name!”
Then a voice came from heaven, “I have
glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
5. John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his
one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but to save the world
through him.
7. 1 John 4:10-11
10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that
he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning
sacrifice for our sins.
11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also
ought to love one another.
8. 1 John 3:16
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus
Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought
to lay down our lives for our brothers and
sisters.
9. John 13:34
34 “A new command I give you: Love one
another. As I have loved you, so you must
love one another.
10. John 13:34
34 “A new command I give you: Love one
another. As I have loved you, so you must
love one another.
Leviticus 19:18
18 Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge
against anyone among your people, but love
your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
11. John 13:35
35 By this everyone will know that you are my
disciples, if you love one another.”
12. 1 John 2:5b-6
This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever
claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
13. Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
Jesus Christ,2 through whom we have gained
access by faith into this grace in which we now
stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of
God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our
sufferings, because we know that suffering
produces perseverance; 4 perseverance,
character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does
not put us to shame, because God’s love has
been poured out into our hearts through the Holy
Spirit, who has been given to us.
14. Galatians 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
forbearance, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.
Against such things there is no law. 24 Those
who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the
flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since
we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with
the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited,
provoking and envying each other.

16. Prayer Time
1. Do I need to ask for a heart of love like
Jesus? If so, pray. Renew your vows.
2. What tangible acts of love and compassion
can I express to those around me? Whom
does God want me to love this week? Whom
do I need to invest in?
3. Pray for one another.
