1. The House In the Middle Of Nowhere

FADE IN:
EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE-NGHT
As the sun has set, and the lighting level is low, only the sounds
of animals can be heard. In the garden of the house, the tops of
trees are shown, and then the outside of the house is shown.
Cut to:
EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE-NGHT
Characters walk into shot, and stop just in front of the door.
CAMERON, English born and bred, the bravest of the two characters,
16 years old, acts older than 16 though.
CAMERON
(EXCITEDLY)
Dude, this is the house I was on about!
JACOB, English born and bred, not very brave, 16 but is the younger
of the two, scared easily.
JACOB
(NERVOUSLY)
A…are you sure this is safe?
CAMERON
Yes, of course it is, it hasn’t been abandoned long!
JACOB
(NERVOUSLY)
This is illegal, we could be arrested!
CAMERON
(ANNOYED)
Oh for god sake! Shut the hell up!
Cameron pulls on the handle, and the door opens.

2. INT. CORRIDOR SHOT OF DOOR
The camera shows the door being opened, Cameron walks in first,
followed by Jacob. Jacob closes the door. Cameron finds the light
switch and turns on the lights.
CAMERON
(SURPRISED)
Huh, I wasn’t expecting those to actually work.
JACOB
It’s really warm in here…
Cut to:
INT. BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS
The camera is pointing to the top of the stairs, it shows a pair of
legs, with no shoes on running across the top of the stairs.
Cut to:
INT. BY THE FRONT DOOR
The camera is facing the two boys, they both look worried.
JACOB
(WORRIED)
Ummm… What was that noise?
CAMERON
(ACTING CONFIDENT)
Oh, it was probably just rats. After all it is an old house. But
I’ll go and check. You go and check what’s in that room.
Cameron points at the door on the left.
Cut to:
INT. TOP OF THE STAIRS
Camera facing down the stairs as Cameron walks up the stairs.
Cut to:

3. INT. BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS
Camera facing up the stairs as Cameron walks up the stairs
Cut to:
INT. TOP OF THE STAIRS
Cameron reaches the top of the stairs looks from left to right.
CAMERON
(SHOUTING)
I can’t see anything up here!
JACOB
(SHOUTING)
Okay, I’ll check the other room!
Cut to:
INT. DOWNSTAIRS CORRIDOR
Jacob reaches his hand out and pushes on the door so that it opens,
the room is dark, but he reaches around and finds the lightswitch.
JACOB
(SURPRISED)
Wow! I’ve found the kitchen, but it looks like it’s only been used
recently
Cut to:
INT. UPSTAIRS FLOOR
Cameron walks down the corridor. Stops and turns around. Then a hand
wraps around his mouth, and he is dragged away.
CAMERON
(SCREAMING)
Help! Help meeeeeeeeeee!
Cut to:

4. INT. DOWNSTAIRS KITCHEN
Jacob walks the other side of the kitchen slowly, looking at the
kitchen, almost analysing it. He reaches the end of the kitchen, and
stops, a hand appears in shot, it covers Jacobs’s mouth, and he is
dragged off screen.
JACOB
(SCREAMING)
No, get off of me. HELP!
