CN'ers Family Foundation that can be called CN'ers or Dutch Caribbean Family is established for all citizens who have affiliation with the Caribbean parts of our kingdom.
Central to stimulate, encourage and promote creativity, entrepreneurship and leadership talents within our Dutch Caribbean community, especially among students and young professionals within the said community.
The foundation has several functions. Primarily serves the foundation as a platform for (youth) initiatives. Secondary will and can act as the foundation for future Supervisory Board member organizations and partners.
CN'ers Food is an online video program where we track students in the preparation of their traditional home dish. A dish that they have learned from home and now as a student in the Netherlands try to make according to their own way. Food is usually a major cost item for students. How to buy in, how you save money, how to prepare a famous dish at home with local products. To gain more insight, we will follow students and leering draw from their experiences, advice and cook style. The food is a means to exchange information with each other about handling money, live in Netherlands / city and not the least important prepare yourself a traditional or familiar food.
CN'ers Project "P" is a buddy program or mentor program. Project P stands for Primo and Prima that cousins means in Papiamento (native language on ABC islands). The Netherlands has many buddies projects and this project will not depart in broad outline of the core principles of buddy concept. With this project to the foundation is committed to supporting children at a young stage of their development in order to reduce the risk of school dropout and other risk behaviors. As a core principle, the Foundation will link a child with a mentor (young adult).
