CLIU#21 is offering free workshops to Edmentum Consortium member districts to help teachers take full advantage of Reading Eggs, Reading Eggspress, Education City, and Study Island.
1. Getting Started with Reading Eggs/Reading Eggspress
Reading Eggs is a comprehensive, online supplemental literacy program for pre-K through 2nd
grade readers. Reading
Eggspress builds on a student’s love for reading and develops reading comprehension skills for 2nd
through 6th
grade
students. This workshop will provide an overview of these programs, focusing on getting started with students and the wide
array of additional resources available.
Workshop Dates: July 22 – 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. or August 4 – 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Getting Started with Education City Math Grades K-2
Education City provide engaging student activities and teaching resources correlated to state and Common Core standards
for pre-K through 2nd
grade math. This workshop will provide an overview of activities available in Education City Math and
how to get started using this resource with you classes.
Workshop Dates: July 23 – 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. or August 4 – 12:30 – 3:30 p.m .
Getting Started with Study Island
This workshop is designed to help educate teachers on the basics of the Study Island program including how students will
work through the program, how to create a class, create an assignment, and accessing the vast resources available to plan
your lessons.
Workshop Dates: July 23 – 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. or July 29 – 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Using Study Island Data to Inform Instruction
During this workshop, we will take a closer look at student, class, and benchmark data and then determine how this
information can help drive your instruction and future use of Study Island.

Building Tests & Materials to Meet Your Classroom Needs
Study Island’s Test Builder, Writing Assignment, and Custom Topic features are the perfect tools for you to evaluate your
student’s understanding of content. Explore these three tools in this workshop to help you customize the Study Island
experience for your students.
Workshop Dates: July 31 - 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. or August 8 - 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
All workshops will be held at CLIU #21 Main Office in Schnecksville, PA. Workshops are free to educators in CLIU #21
Edmentum Consortium school districts. Participants will receive 3 Act 48 hours for each workshops attended.
