8:00-9:30 Study Island Introduction- A
general overview will be given about the
program. Teachers that have already used
SI will give examples of the program’s use
within the classroom.
9:30-10:30 Study Island Set-Up-
Teachers will locate class lists on Study
Island to edit. Teachers will locate pre-test
to be administered.
3. Objectives
-Teachers will have class rosters on
Study Island within 30 days of the In-Service.
-Teachers will have all students complete a
pre-test in their content area by the end of the
first grading period.
-Teachers will provide students with
individual Study Island assignments by
January.
-Teachers will regularly analyze Study Island
data to inform instruction.
-Teachers will have students complete a post-
test in their content area by the end of May to
show growth.

Edit student names and save
changes.
6. Step 2 Locate Pre-test for your
content area.
Have all students complete pre-test before
the end of the first grading period
7. Step 3 Create Assignments
Choose several assignments based on pre-test
data.
