Biography
Cindy Steele is an accomplished professional offering extensive experience in all facets of
Infection Prevention. In addition to her reliable record of success in providing quality
patient care, she is resourceful, self-reliant, and an energetic professional who is passionate about
infection control. She has developed processes for identifying, reporting, and follow up evaluation
of infection control violations and has been instrumental in the success of CMS and TJC surveys.
Demonstrated expertise and success in building, planning and implementing strong programs while

analyze infection rates, HAIs and Clusters utilizing Midas+, Cerner, Excel, Meditech, Protouch,

More than 3 years of experience working in the Medical Surgical Unit in the acute
care setting.
More than 5 years of experience working in the Definitive Observation Unit in the
acute care setting.
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing, working on a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Board Certified in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
