2. Historical Background
 Established in the year 1888
 The park was previously a tin mine.
Founded by Alfred
Venning
in the late 19th century
 Initially called Public Gardens but later renamed to Lake
Gardens. Also known as Taman Tasik Perdana.
 In 2011, it was renamed to Perdana Botanical Gardens.

3. General Information
 First large-scale recreational park.
 Measures up to 91.6 hectars.
 Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
 Consist of a few different parks. Eg: bird park, botanical
park, deer park and a few other museum.
 It also serves as a place that
preserves the old trees such as
bayans and raintrees.
