I produced a conventional layout that appealed to 100% of my survey takers.
I managed to produce a cover , which based on aesthetics, would appeal to my target
audience of 16-30 year olds.
The use of layout techniques on my front cover appealed to all of my survey responders.
8% of my audience said that they would change something on my front cover – this was
the white text on the pale background which has now been changed.
3. Contents Page
100% of my survey takers said that this magazine based on how it looks would appeal to
my target audience of 16-30 year olds.
My choice of typography and technical elements very much appealed to them.
I managed to utilize the use of technical elements for effectiveness.
50% of people said they would change something about these first drafts.
40% of people said they wouldn’t buy my magazine judging by the contents page itself.
4. Double Page Spread
100% of my survey responders said they would buy this magazine if they saw it – just
judging by the double page spread.
All of the typography and technical element choices appeal to the target audience.
75% of the survey responders said that they agree that this magazine is targeted at 16-30
year olds just based on the magazine’s double page spread.
The double page spread appeals to all of the survey responders.
25% of the target audience said that my magazine would not appeal to my target
audience.
