BRANDON: 2015 has got so much in-store.Especially for whatwe’ve been told an even ‘bigger and better’ Air
Show featuringin Cleethorpes! Over 200,000 people enjoyed the gorgeous weather on such a brilliantaction-
packed display atthe Cleethorpes air show.
CHLOE: It seems Organiser Bob Callison,who is on the Cleethorpes Air Show committee, said thathis aimnext
year is to make the event even MORE successful –with plans to bringmore businesses on board at the top of
the team’s to-do list.
BRANDON: He’s also mentioned that their aimis to grab as many more sponsors and traders (alongwith North
East LincolnshireCouncil) aspossible.As they are a no-for-profitcompany, any money goes straightinto the
plans for next year.

BRANDON: The new Smyths Toy Store is known to create more than 30 jobs.Smyths Toys Superstores has
announced that its new outlet, at the Victoria Retail Park,will open on Saturday,September 27. As previously
reported, work has already begun in the new store, which will belocated in the vacantunit previously
occupied by JJB Sports. Smyths expects more than 30 jobs to be created at the 15,000 squarefeet store,
rangingfrom retail assistants to management positions.Further positions aresetto be created later in the
year.

CHLOE: The Range is another new retail storeopening over the Homebase. As reported, the homewares
retailer is recognised for offering more than 65,000 quality products across16 departments includingDIY,
homewares, furniture and arts and crafts.The doors will open to its Victoria Street outlet at9am today.

BRANDON: Grimsby Auditoriumwas filled with music,as the 3 academies came together to produce a
Christmas Concert. With students from the age of 7 to 18,Tollbar,Cleethorpes and Reynolds academies pulled
together to produce a ‘simply amazing’production.
