Chia Sook Keen is a 23-year-old accounting student pursuing her degree at Victoria University Sunway. After graduating, she intends to become a Certified Public Accountant and work for a Big Four accounting firm in order to improve her knowledge and increase her demand in the accounting field. She gained experience through internships with an accounting and insurance company, developing skills in accounting, problem-solving, IT, and communication. Chia considers herself dedicated and easy-going, taking on responsibilities with enthusiasm and ensuring tasks are completed on time through planning and persevering to overcome challenges.

1. My name is Chia Sook Keen. I am 23 year old and currently doing my third year
accounting degree in Victoria University Sunway Kl Campus and feel honored to pursue
my accounting in this prominent institution. After I graduated, I intend to pursue Certified
Public Accountant and work in Big 4 accounting companies. The reason I am wish to get
the Certified Public Accountant and work in Big 4 accounting firm. It is because that I want
to improve my knowledge and increase my demand in accounting professionals.
According to Luthans (2011), the learning goal orientation is part of essential for
today’s work environment which requires employees can contribute new ideas, proactive,
problem solve and adapt new situations. In order to gain more experience I did an internship
with Jourdeness Company as an accountant assistant and in insurance company worked as
part time as an administrative assistant. From this working experience, I gained some
accounting knowledge, problem solving skills, information technology skills and
communication skills. As stated by Ausubel (1968), that knowledge structures grow when
they are challenged from novel matter gained via experience.
I am a dedicated and easy-going women who takes up obligations with ultimate
enthusiasm and make sure that I complete my tasks and work in time. My confident and
planned ahead in things I do is what leading me towards my achievement in my life. If
things go beyond control, I will go further mile and contribute my effort to complete my
works in time. Hence to achieve my goals and increase my employability in future, I would
never give up on challenges for continuous improvement.
