RE: Referee’s Report – Mr Chen Zhang (Pluto)
Mr Zhang asked me to write a referee’s report to support his job application and I do so with
pleasure.
I knows Mr Zhang very well, who had been working within my companies as a full time
accountant assistant (internship) during the period of 22 March to 22 May 2015. Pluto is an
intelligent individual who works diligently and efficiently. He is always enthusiastic and friendly.
He has shown a keen interest in his job and has worked well in a precise and capable manner.
Although unassuming, he can be relied on to be a responsible, independent employee who is able
to work co-operatively with a wide range of colleagues. He has also spent time on helping other
colleagues, once he finished his task.
Mr Zhang has an appreciation for accounting concepts at this level and picks up ideas quickly. He
has concentrated on developing a deeper understanding of the practical accounting skills. During
the period of his internship within our company, he has learnt and mastered day to day accounting
work associated with account receivable and account payable (dealing with around $10M turnover
pa). Mr Zhang has also been involved in part of our company’s work associated with PAYE, GST,
and annual financial statements.
Moreover, he has set a high standard for himself in tasks and takes pride in ensuring his work is
accurate. Under the supervision of Drapac senior accountants, Mr Zhang has successfully
established Xero Account System in our company. This is an important contribution to our
company, improving the efficiency of our company accounting work.
Furthermore, Mr Zhang embraces all the opportunities given to him and has approached his job
with a positive, confident attitude. He has great powers of concentration accompanied by a strong
intellectual capacity and high personal motivation. I have great admiration for him and he has

been an absolute pleasure to work with. Hence, as his supervisor and also the director of Drapac
Group companies, I awarded him the Top one intern on April with $300 for his great contribution.
After the completion of his internship within our company, Mr Zhang has become a skilled junior
accountant. I am confident that he will become a first class accountant in New Zealand in the
future if he continue his learning and working in this country.
