2. The making of the short thriller film
• Overall I used simple pieces of technology like final cut pro, adobe photoshop and help cameras in the construction of the short thriller film these were
the main pieces of digital technologies that I used but there were other little parts of digital technology that I used.They were all pieced together to help
make the construction of the short film and they all helped in their own ways.AlsoWord helped a lot as I was able to create shot lists etc.
• Final cut pro: Final cut pro was really helpful in the construction of 1.7 million as this was where we could bring all the filming, editing and sound together
to make the film the best it could possibly be
• Hand held cameras:This was really helpful in the making of the short thriller film and I felt that they were suitable for what we were filming as they were
easy to carry round. For me this was the one piece of digital technology that I really used in the making of the short thriller film as I didn’t really get
involved in the editing of the thriller film
• Adobe photoshop: Photoshop was really helpful in one of my tasks which was creating my film poster and this fitted well to what I needed to do for
example it meant that I could manipulate the image and insert title in easily. Also it meant that I could add multiple layers to the poster and make sure
that it fitted the genre of a short thriller poster and had the conventions of a typical short thriller film poster
• Word: Helped me plan the shot lists that I actually used on the shot day and this was really helpful as it helped me set everything into sections. And this
helped me on shoot day as it meant I knew what shot I was doing next so it helped me prepare

3. Research and planning
Research and planning was key area in the making off the short thriller film. 1.7
million and this helped me focus on what the audience would like to see and what
they thought made a typical short thriller film.The digital technologies that helped
me were survey monkey and social media.
Survey monkey:This was vital in helping my research as this meant that I could really
find out who my target audience would be. Also it meant that I could really ask many
questions to know what I needed to base the short thriller film on and what people
prefer to feature in the short thriller film
Social media:This only was really used to upload my survey monkey to so I could get
people to complete my survey as I wouldn’t get many results if I want out into public

4. Evaluation
• For my evaluation I used the website builder weebly and this was really
helpful as it meant that I was able to write on the website to put in details
and what I did so this meant that everything was in a set out area. Also it
meant that I could embedd slideshows so then I didn’t have to write every
little detail it meant that I could put it into simple sections.

5. Overview
• I felt that all these main types of digital technologies really helped the short
thriller film be the best it could possibly as I could create everything ti a high
standard. Also it made everything simple and quick to use as they made all
the processes easier to use.
