and 4D animated films.
The production house is divided into three main divisions:
•pre –production
•production
•post – production

Equipment and machines:
One needs to be well versed with computers and editing software and
should have working knowledge of a camera and film direction as it proves to
be an added advantage.
Equipment, tools and machines that one would come across are digital
videos, tapes, hard disks, flash memory, tripod, rolls of films, cameras, cranes
for moving set equipment, set locations, props, costumes, generators, sound
equipment etc

Duties:
•Plans and coordinates details with all divisions i.e. pre – production,
production and post – production.
•Gives instructions to schedule and broadcast.
•Reviews production to ensure that shows are completed on time, within
budget and according to the artistic and technical specifications.
•Reviews and revises budgets and expenditures incurred for each division of
the production house.
7. DREAM EDUCATION
•An education background in mass communication, media, filmmaking,
entertainment, or a specialization in broadcasting would get an added advantage.
•Specialization in advertising, film – making, certificate courses is a benefit and a
bachelors degree is essential. A diploma, master’s degree or an MBA in the
related industry would be an added advantage.
•A course from Standard 12th should be introduced for students who want to
pursue this career. Flexibility of subjects can be introduced along with field
specialisation and live projects. Written exams can be scrapped.
8. DREAM EDUCATION
•Must be an excellent negotiator and have business sense and an intimate
knowledge of all aspects of film production, financing, marketing, and
distribution.
•Knowledge of emerging specialty channels and networks and the types of
programming these networks.
