1. When did you start working?
I start working when I was 7 years old, learning different techniques of
drawing over shops windows.
2. Where did you start working?
I began working in Chiavari, a small village nearby Genova.
3. What is your favourite logo?
One of my favourite logo is the olimpic games rings logo.
4. How many logos have you designed?
Around 40.
5. Has your family (any member of your family) designed logos?
Yes, my son has been collaborating in my Studio and he produced two
fine logos for lawyers buffet.
6. What do you use the logos for?
The logo is the essence of a thought or an activity shaped into a symbol.
7. How many years did you work in graphic/graph designed?
I have been working over 30 years as a Graphics designer.
8. Why do you like making the designs?
Because it helps me to be clear, to find beautiful and useful ways to let
other have a better view of the world.
9. How do you inspire for your designs?
Art history, Cinema, Comics and other Graphics´works have inspired my
own works.
10. When did you make your first graphic design?
I worked for Olivetti and in Paris for the biggest design Studio over there.
It was in the sixties when I make my first productions as a graphics
designer
11. Where were you born?
I was born in Genova.
12. How did you make your logo?
I made my own logo, many years ago using Edward Muybridge horse
picture in motion. I only used a single picture frame.
13. How old are you?
I was born in 1942.
14. Which is the most important logo you have designed?
All of them are important to me. Maybe the Venezia Biennale.
15. Why did you want to design the logos?
I enjoy every creation which can be beautiful, clear and useful at the
same time.
16. How long do you take making a logo/a design? Usually an entire
week, sometimes less.
