6. It’s the little things
• ‘Wood’ floors in the
clothing areas
• Darkness of the floor
creates a ‘homey’ feeling
• Illusion of a higher class
store
7. Color Scheme
Store colors • Not much unification of
color scheme inside store
• Blue
• Yellow • Slightly distracting
• White • Red: clearance
9. Linearity
• The straight lines made navigation very simple
• ‘Lead’ through the store to focal points
• Points of interest throughout
• Both high and low price items on end caps
10. Costumer Service
• Very hard to find employees through out store or
at registers
• Employees very reluctant to give costumer help
• I left feeling annoyed
• However…the convince of the store will keep me
coming back. Despite awful customer service
11. Clientele
• Variety of social and economic classes shopping
• Very relaxed environment
• People in pajamas…
