she herself is a teenager, who my magazine is aimed at.

However, the one disadvantage of the photograph is the colour of the wall
towards the right side of the photograph as it shown to be a bit yellow whereas
the remainder of the background is white.

There are two disadvantages of the photograph, Firstly, the arm of my model
leaning on the computer desk does not go well with her facial expression, this
could give mixed messages. Secondly, the arm of the model is blocking part of
the YouTube site meaning that the genre can still be established although not as
clear.

however, not everybody in my target audience would appeal to it.
There is one disadvantage of the photograph, which is the gesture of my model
is blocking part of the computer therefore the logo and site for YouTube will not
be clearly seen which means the genre may not be established.

6. Chosen Photograph- I have chosen this photograph to use as the front cover for
my Social Media magazine as direct address is used, this technique is highly
used on magazine front covers. The focus of the photograph is visible for the
target audience to see from a distant if it was stacked in stores. There is enough
space to put a barcode, the date, price, masthead, coverlines and main
coverline. The target audience can clearly see the prop which the model is
positioned next to. I feel that the position of my model would suit best for a
front cover for a Social Media magazine. Out of all the photographs taken, this
photograph shows no part of the white wall or part of the bed in the room.
