uses: To initiate processing into the military band program, and as a record of the individual's technical ability and

processing of this form.

2. Percussion Grading Instructions and Song list
Part 1
Graded GO/NO-GO
Part 2
Graded with the Percussion Evaluation Rubric.
Drum set performance will be evaluated in an MPT if logistics allow, otherwise Music Minus
One (Play-along tracks) will be used. One selection must be patriotic in nature (God Bless
Part 3
Graded with the Percussion Rubric.
A minimum of 45 minutes is given to prepare given selections.
Part 4
Additional Skills are graded on the scale:
0 (not contributing to mission), 1 (some mission capability) or 2 (significant mission enhancer.
Maximum of 2 points awarded for each additional skill.
Maximum score for Part 4 is 4 points.
Score from Part 4 is added to final rubric score to determine final score.
Maximum score for audition is 40 points.
