4. MAIN IMAGE
Use google images to find a range of photographs which match your idea for the main
cover image. Your selected images should reveal your chosen:
• Photographic Style (moody, whimsical, arty, edgy, black & white, on-location, studio,
psychedelic, gritty, glamorous etc.)
• Shot type (mid-shot, ¾ knee shot, medium close-up, close-up, big close-up, long shot
shot etc.)
• Camera angle (low, high, canted etc.)
• Lighting (high key, naturalistic, use of colour etc.)
• Location (most likely the studio, but there may be other locations relevant to your
genre)
• Fashion, make-up, props (styling relevant to your genre)
You may wish to include one slide of images on each of the above bullet points.
