SAVING RECENT CONTACTS INTO YOUR ADDRESS BOOK Switching to Google…
What are Recent Contacts When you receive an email from someone outside the school district, their email address is placed into a location called “Recent Contacts.” These email addresses are not saved to your Address Book (a permanent file on your computer) but will pop up if you ever start to type that recipient’s address in your To: location of a new email. Because these addresses are not saved, there is no way to export them into the new Google system unless you first save them into your Address Book. This tutorial will walk you through that process.
Using Entourage ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
1. Start typing desired recipient’s email 2. When desired recipient’s email is selected, hit tab 3. Continue this until each desired recipient is selected. Then hit Enter
It will appear you are sending an email to a collection of people. You will not actually send this email. 4. Right-click on each recipient’s email address and choose Add to Address Book See tutorial on importing your contacts into Google
