Tobernalt Holy Well Celebrations
Sincere thanks to all who attended our weekend
celebrations at the Holy Well. A Very Special thank you to
our Sacristans, members of the Altar Society, Readers,
many Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Parish Choirs,
Collectors, Counters, Clergy who helped with the
Anointing and all who helped with the setting up of the grounds. Also,
we appreciate the support of the Garda Siochana and the Civil Defence
at the grounds. Mass will be offered in thanksgiving and for your
intentions.
Carraroe & District Regeneration Association
A Meeting of the above association was help in the community Centre
last Tuesday and a committee has been formed. The object of the group
is to cater for the needs of the community and its people as well as the
overall improvement of the local area. If you would like to join the
group, the next meeting will take place on next Tuesday 5th
August
beginning at 8:00pm in the Community Centre. Please come along.
2. Carraroe Community Centre - Autumn/Winter
Please book the Community Centre by contacting Carraroe Presbytery.
All groups using the Community Centre must make a contribution
towards the cost of running the centre during the year. Outstanding
payments should be submitted before using the centre for the new term.
Tobernalt Holy Well – A Place of Prayer and Tranquillity
Here you will find God in the great outdoors. During the autumn take
the time to visit, pray and light a candle at the Holy Well. Here you can
reflect on the Mass Rock which at this special time of Corpus Christi reminds us of
our Eucharist, the Shrine to Our Lady and St. Anne reminding us of their service to
God and the Crucifixion scene showing the great love that Jesus had for us by giving
up his life on the Cross. Please remember that books and cards on the Holy Well are
available from the Sacristy, Presbytery or from Veritas in Sligo.
Bereaved
Your prayers are requested for the soul of Bridget Moyles, Cairns Road, and
Crossmolina, mother of Mary Moyles, whose funeral took place recently. Bridget was
a special lady in our community, with a deep faith and lovely sense of humour. May
she rest in peace.
Adult Prayer Group
The Adult Prayer Group Meeting takes place every Tuesday night at 8:30pm in St.
Michael’s Family Life Centre, Church Hill, Sligo. You are invited to come along for a
time of prayer, song and praise. All are welcome.
Continuous Movement of Prayer – For Your Family
The Continuous Movement of Prayer takes place on the 25th
of each month for
marriage and the family. For further details and Booklets, contact Deirdre Parle at
071-9169131. You are invited to join in this sacred movement of prayer.

magazines are added every week.
Shrines – Our Church has two shrines, to St. Anthony and Our Lady. You may like to
visit and say a prayer.
Keeping our Church Tidy – It would be a great help if you leave the Sunday
Missalette at the end of your seat after Mass.
Baptisms – Baptisms take place usually on the last Sunday of the month at 12:15pm.
Please contact the Presbytery.
Weddings – Bookings are now been taking for 2015/2016

Daily Prayer
God of heaven and earth,
Through Jesus you have made known to us the name of Father,
The Word who was made flesh,
And the person of the Holy Spirit.
May you be blessed for opening to us,
The secrets of your inmost life,
And for inviting us to enter it
In the glory where you reign
For ever and ever.
