3. Clean Monday or Lent Monday is the first day of Great Lent
(Saracosti) during which families go for a picnic in the
countryside and fly kites.
The first day of May is the largest spring celebration
symbolizing the rebirth of nature! On that day people create a
flower wreath.
Traditionally, the man has to ask the permission to marry his
beloved one to the woman’s father and her family.
The Independence Day in Greece is celebrated on the 25th
March.

time, they immediately say "Piase Kókino" to each
