2. Before you enter the store
Smells like fried chicken.
Door opens when you arrive.
Floral department is in the front of the store.
The store is warm and inviting.
3. Personnel
Staff did not initiative contact. I had to seek out an employee
to answer a question.
Salesperson did follow up with me
I actually counted 15 staff on the floor.
I observed 10 women and 5 men, mostly teens.
All the employees wore uniforms.
4. Environment
Floors are shiny and polished
Ceilings are high and store is
well lit.
There is music playing in
background.
The only noise comes from the
PA system requesting
assistance from supervisors.
Store is warm and full of items.
The cash register is located in
the front of the store.
No security in store.
Environment encourages
spending…SALES!
5. Products
The first product I noticed
was the pineapples.
Most of the sale items were
featured in the aisles.
Items are arranged by
events, i.e. Halloween
themed cupcakes, cookies,
candies, and costumes were
everywhere!
Lots of free samples!
6. Environment
Music playing
Sounds of kids laughing
Aroma is intoxicating,
smells of spices
No visible store security
Cash register is located
in front of store.
Was asked several times
if I needed help.
The environment did not
influence the value of
the merchandise.
