What have you
learnt about
technologies from
the process of
constructing this
product?
From doing my
two magazines, the
college and music I
have learnt a lot on
different programs
and websites.
Firstly the main
program that I have spent time on in
Indesign, which before the course
work I had never used before and I
now feel very confident in my skills
and as time went on the more I was
able to make my work look creative
and professional.
I also spent a lot of time on
Photoshop. I have used this program
before and do have certain skills
using it which I could transfer into
creating this product, however there
still was a lot I learnt. Due to the skills
I had and the ones I had learnt I was
able to go further with certain parts
of my work, for example, I created 3
album cover as on my DPS I was
going to have a review on my page
however I only used the one. The
cover added someone more to the
page and I feel makes my article
different to others.
In evaluation question 5 I originally
created a video in a program called
AfterEffects and then
uploaded it into a
glogster. I have
previously used the
program AfterEffects
so I was able to
produce this moving
word animation that
most people haven’t because they
don’t have the skills but by making
this I have improved I was able to
produce the animation a lot quicker
and I learnt different techniques, but
because no one have really used it I
couldn’t ask for help I was reliant on
myself and I had to teach myself.
From making this product I have
learnt a lot of skills, ones that I can
use in the future.
