2. Regular Verbs
 Regular verbs are called regular because they
follow specific rules.
 All Regular verbs can be changed in the same
way.
 Some examples of regular verbs:
 Talk
 Sigh
 Drag
 Enter
 Consider
 Paint

3. Simple Tenses for Regular Verbs
 Simple present tense
 What is happening now
 Just need the infinitive (regular) form of the verb
 Example present tense of walk is walk.
 Simple past tense
 what happened before
 Construct by adding –ed or –d
 Example: walk + past tense = walked
 Simple future tense
 What will happen in the future
 Construct by adding will to infinitive form
 Example: walk + simple future = will walk

4. Irregular verbs
 These verbs do not follow the nice and neat rules
that regular verbs do.
 Each one follows its own pattern, and they just
have to be memorized.
