ASSESSMENT OF THE 4 – YEAR CED DEVELOPMENT PLAN
DUBBED AS “OPLAN LEVEL ONE @ SEVEN”
Background:
Targets are indices for planners to achieve or even surpass to measure performance from previous accomplishments and would serve as benchmarks to take-off a bigger
project or a plan. In the case of the CED – Civil Engineering Department, a development plan was crafted by the CED faculty stipulating therein the varied programs, activities
and projects to be accomplished until SY 2016. Indeed, the said devplan was focused on the department’s tagline: “Oplan Level One @ Seven”. Along this line, all the PAPs of
the department are anchored to hit the minimum point in the different areas of AACCUP accreditation. Eventually and with the end in mind, the BSCE program of the college
will be accredited level one (1) by 2016 and by this time, the program will be on its seventh (7th) year of operation in the college. In addition, the said Civil Engineering
Department Development Plan (CED Devplan) was first crafted during the first quarter of the year 2013 following the first Strategic Planning Activity held by Dr. Nieves A.
Dacyon , the College President, at the then Accreditation Center. The Devplan has translated some significant points discussed during the said planning with the aim to support
the administration on its programs and plans to eagerly induce change in the institution.

Assessment of the 4-Year CED Devplan 1 | P a g e ASSESSMENT OF THE 4 – YEAR CED DEVELOPMENT PLAN DUBBED AS “OPLAN LEVEL ONE @ SEVEN” Background: Targets are indices for planners to achieve or even surpass to measure performance from previous accomplishments and would serve as benchmarks to take-off a bigger project or a plan. In the case of the CED – Civil Engineering Department, a development plan was crafted by the CED faculty stipulating therein the varied programs, activities and projects to be accomplished until SY 2016. Indeed, the said devplan was focused on the department’s tagline: “Oplan Level One @ Seven”. Along this line, all the PAPs of the department are anchored to hit the minimum point in the different areas of AACCUP accreditation. Eventually and with the end in mind, the BSCE program of the college will be accredited level one (1) by 2016 and by this time, the program will be on its seventh (7th) year of operation in the college. In addition, the said Civil Engineering Department Development Plan (CED Devplan) was first crafted during the first quarter of the year 2013 following the first Strategic Planning Activity held by Dr. Nieves A. Dacyon , the College President, at the then Accreditation Center. The Devplan has translated some significant points discussed during the said planning with the aim to support the administration on its programs and plans to eagerly induce change in the institution. The said room was considered as the “fluid mechanics and physics lab room”. 2. Strengthening of the CED Extension Program PI Four (4) Extension Activities. One (1) each academic year Three (3) Extension Activities held at Barangays Ripang (2013), Malama (2014), & Paddaoan (2015). 75%  AACCUP Accreditation – Area VI (Extension and Community Involvement  MFO 3 – Extension Services (PI#1) One (1) extension program is scheduled for implementation on Dec. 2016 at Caglayan, Conner, Apayao. 3. Registration of student organization to the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineering Students - National NI One (1) Student Organization registered to PICES National None 0% None of the faculty members attended any of the PICE convention and conference which is a requisite to register student chapter organization. 4. Procurement of Engineering books and reviewers as additional library holdings Data reconciliation with the Library Services is in progress, especially on the details of newly procured books which are not accounted yet. 5. The CED Day 2016 is slotted on November 2016. 7. Retooling of CE Faculty to address the K12 transition period NI Three (3) faculty to undergo training and retooling in preparation for the K12 offering. None The college has not decided earlier whether to offer or not to offer the Senior High School program. On the other hand, almost all faculty participated and focused in the summer accreditation workshop. 8. Compilation of syllabi revisited every after three years PI One (1) Compendium with forty – nine (49) courses Twenty – nine (29) courses provided with complete syllabi 59.18%  AACCUP Accreditation – Area III (Curriculum and Instruction)  SUC Levelling  MFO 1 – Higher Education Services (PI#2b) The compendium took revisions especially on the format of syllabus which was finally adopted the OBE format. 13. Organizing student organization and its accreditation to the DSS One (1) student organization – Philippine Institute of Civil Engineering Students PICES One (1) student org.
