audience interested because many will know him from
Breaking Bad.
 Builds up to a small reveal at the end of the trailer
 Dark colours (Red, Black)
 Important details at the end of the trailer – release date,
movie website and Production Company.
 Operatic music in the middle of the trailer helped to build up
the tension.

 Music stops when they say a funny line in the trailer
 Trailer starts serious for about 5 seconds and then you see
that it is more of a comedy than a top action film.
 Names of the main actors are mentioned, which makes the
audience feel if you want to go or not.

4. The Expendables 3
 Showed the best action scenes from the film, potentially shows the
plot of the film.
 A lot of explosions and one-liners that make the film interesting to
the audience.
 Names of the all star cast appear at the end, the audience may be
big fans of action films, so it is good to see a film with the best
action film stars involved in.
 Music was quick and up tempo, which means the action in the
trailer was quick.
 Names of director, producer and screenplay mentioned at the end
of the trailer.
